People tend to forget what is truly important in life. They seek pleasure by using environmentally friendly products and recycle them to compensate for their irrational desire for objects, creating a vicious circle of production and consumption. But pleasure is not something to pursue but something to find in daily life. I designed the B+ (Beauty Plus) Kitchen Product Series hoping this might facilitate human sustainability. I hope these kitchen products will help users find pleasure in cooking and eating, which is a fundamental part of life.

Currently B+ Kitchen Product Series has four families. I have produced several pieces of each family and given them to my friends for special occasions.

People rarely find pleasure in using pragmatically designed products. On the other hand, aesthetically designed products do not always function well. I tried to make these kitchen products both functional and aesthetically pleasing. For instance, I tried to make the grip as comfortable as possible and the concept of the grip is "as comfortable as a kitten's back."

To design the grip, I started by squeezing a piece of plasticine to find a comfortable shape. Then I tried to find how the ugly, squeezed from could become beautiful while retaining its comfort. The resulting delicate and subtle curve provide both a comfortable grip and beauty to the object.
